Description

Two lightbulbs etched "Scottish Oils" from Calderbank House Mid Calder.

This was the first house to be supplied with electricity in Mid Calder.

Supply came from Pumpherston works. Donor's grandfather, J. Balfour Sneddon was MD of Scottish Oils, circa 1920
