Notice states " The sinks in sculleries and water closets are to be used for the disposal of all liquid matter and excreta, but solid matter of any description must not be disposed of in this way. Dust-bins are supplied for ashes and other rubbish, but it is recommended that tea leaves, fish refuse, potato parings and other vegetable other refuse, should be burned as collected The choking of drains would cause considerable inconvenience and trouble to tenants, and it is hoped that, in their own interests, they will carry out these regulations.
